Nater, CSC, (Certified Security Consultant) as awarded by the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC) is a nationally recognized Workplace Security Advisor, Consultant and Coach with over 40 years of acquired experience -centered, knowledge-based expertise working in the capacity as a Postal Inspector, and Postal Police Officer with the United States Postal Inspection Service and Independent Security Management Consultant. As a Postal Inspector, Felix held a variety of diversified criminal, security, administrative, program management and training positions and assignments at the national, regional, and local levels. Specialized training and experiences acquired while working as Postal Inspector on a Violence Interdiction Team, New York Division, Postal Inspection Service. Responsibilities on the Violence Interdiction Team included liaison with Postal Service District Executives, Postal Operations, Human Resources and Labor Directors, Postmasters, and their leadership teams in response to incident assessments, risk abatement recommendations and necessary risk mitigation measures and coordinating criminal law violations with local police agencies. Support services included designing and delivery of training for two postal districts, testifying at Arbitration Hearings, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Hearings, Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) Hearings, and civil and criminal proceedings. Projects and Solutions delivered included design and delivery of a turnkey eLearning computer-based workplace violence prevention training program, hostile intruder/active shooter, safe harbor training program that included a company-wide simulation training exercise, designed and presented a basic workplace violence prevention & active shooter curriculum, served as subject matter expert in the design of a DVD training video on the role of security officers and workplace violence, designed a supervisor training program on managing the potentially hostile workplace and co-developed an eLearning training and consulting tool for consultants, trainers and coaches. Felix co-authored a book entitled Combating Workplace Violence: Creating and Maintaining Safe Work Environments. He contributed a chapter in a book authored called Tip & Tales from the Booth by John A. Hill Avoiding Trade Show Mistakes and has authored key articles in nationally recognized publications.
