Lester LaPierre
Lester LaPierre is a security industry pioneer dedicated to the introduction and adoption of leading-edge technologies for physical security and electronic access control. These technologies include the utilization of smart cards for online access control dating back to the late ‘90s, wireless locking solutions from their inception in the early 2000s, IP-enabled locking solutions from their inception in the late 2000s, and integrated locking and mobile access solutions today. His articles have been published in journals such as Access Control & Security Systems, Locksmith Ledger, Security InfoWatch, and Security Sales & Integration. Lester served six years in the US Air Force in the avionics field, studied vocational and adult education at University of Southern Mississippi, and earned his degree in business administration from Lewis University. Lester resides in suburban Chicago with his wife, Nancy, and youngest son Jared, and has an older son, Grant, residing in Phoenix.
