The IAPSC has created the Certified Security Consultant designation for professional, independent security consultants. CSC certification is the recognized standard for Security Consultants and is a marker of a high level of professionalism, knowledge, professional objectivity, and integrity.
As with IAPSC membership, the CSC is only available to independent security consultants. Qualifying for the CSC requires a combination of experience and education, as well as independence, and adherence to a Professional Code of Ethics. The CSC is another wrench in your marketing toolbox that separates you from the competition. Our clients recognize the value of certification, especially one that has the backing and credibility of the premier security consulting association.
Earning the certification consists of FIRST, meeting the qualifications, and SECOND, passing a 100-question multiple-choice examination that includes consulting practices, security management, and business ethics. There is a 2 hour time limit to complete the exam. The exam is hosted on a secure internet server, and your score is not shared with anyone outside the IAPSC.
