In recent years, after working with dozens of hospitals and clinics across the U.S., I’ve identified trends, and related best practices, regarding healthcare security and especially the prevention, mitigation and response to violence. When I interview staff, from nurses and registrars to CEO’s, the concern over violence always arises.
