Leslie N. A. Cole, Sr. CPP, CST will be a presenter at ASIS International 61st Annual Seminar & Exhibits scheduled to be held in Anaheim, CA. on September 27th to October 1st, 2015. More than 20,000 members from over 50 countries are expected to attend this event.
Keynote Speakers at the conference will be Raymond Kelly, Former Police Commissioner of New York City and General Michael Hayden, Former Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Central Intelligence Agency, (CIA).

Leslie Cole will be co-presenting with Attorney Michael A. Haggard, Managing Partner of The Haggard Law Firm of Coral Gables, Florida. Attorney Haggard handles personal injury cases which include Negligent Security and Premises Liability. Attorney Haggard is considered as one of the most highly regarded personal injury attorneys in the United States, and the only attorney who has been awarded three (3) One Hundred Million verdicts.
Leslie Cole is a Council Vice President (CVP) of ASIS International. Prior to being a CVP, Leslie chaired the Crime and Loss Prevention Council and the Educational Institutions Standing Council. In his capacity as a CVP, Leslie has had oversight for the following Standing Councils: Commercial Real Estate, Crime and Loss Prevention, Hospitality, Entertainment & Tourism Security, Information Asset Protection & Pre-Employment Screening, Investigations, and Security Services. He currently has oversight for the following Standing Councils: Food Defense and Agriculture, Retail Loss Prevention, Academic & Training Programs and Cultural Properties. In addition, he is responsible for the ASIS European Council Working Group.
Leslie serves on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants, (IAPSC) and Chairs its Committee on By-Laws. Leslie is also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Organization of Black Security Executives, (IOBSE) and Chairs its Committee on Professional Education.
In the spring of 1968, Leslie Cole received his initial security training administered by the Government of the State of Israel. In 1981, he earned his Master’s Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, writing a Thesis on the Security & Policing of Airports. In addition, Leslie has received specialized training in 53 Areas of Public Safety from 23 Institutions and organizations. In 1982, was Board Certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Since then, he has been recertified every 3 years. In 1987, Leslie received his lifetime designation as a Certified Security Trainer (CST).
In 1983, he established Leslie Cole Associates, Inc., a Security Consulting firm and has served as a Forensic Consultant in over 1,250 cases in 25 states, the District of Columbia and Three Caribbean Islands and has testified in hundreds of cases. Prior to establishing his firm, Leslie Cole was Corporate Director of Security for a national company for 8 years.
Leslie has served as an Adjunct at the New Jersey City University and as a Consultant to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a UN agency.
Leslie has been a featured speaker at educational seminars and conferences hosted by ASIS, IOBSE, IAPSC, ICLE, NJAJ and the Council of New York Cooperatives and Condominiums on Negligent Security and Premises Liability.
Since 1990, Leslie has served as a moderator, panelist and presenter at ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits.
