Mr. Corey is an independent security consultant with a 40+ year track record developing, assessing, and improving multi-disciplined security programs. He is an expert in delivering timely and quality solutions based on a broad spectrum of experience supporting local, national, and international security programs and projects. His areas of expertise include developing risk management plans for mission critical key infrastructure, evaluating the overall effectiveness of security programs including security education, personnel security, physical security and access control, safeguarding of classified and sensitive information, and classification management; assisting in developing documentation to support security upgrades or new construction; support in developing operational and procedural documentation related to the continuity of operations, operations security, insider threat, and emergency action plans; and performing editorial reviews of technical documents, to ensure compliance with established policies, guidelines and standards for format, style, writing and quality.
Mr. Corey has worked with the US Department of Energy to upgrade security at nuclear power plants and research reactor sites in Russia and the Former Soviet Union (FSU) and the International Atomic Energy Agency on programs supporting the return of Russian reactor fuel along with the development of facilities to support the long term storage of spent nuclear fuel. He was involved in investigating, assessing, and countering the treat posed by urban terrorism activities in Europe and the Middle-East. His background also includes work in counterintelligence, counterespionage, and technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) as both a technician and instructor.

Members of the IAPSC who specialize in security technology consulting update their knowledge of available products, features and configurations by attending a number of manufacturer sponsored seminars each year. Lodging and other travel for such training sessions are sometimes provided by the manufacturer since the manufacturer benefits from expert feedback on their products. The IAPSC does not consider acceptance of such expenses by its members in contradiction to its independence requirements, so long as the member attends training from multiple manufacturers and specifies products from multiple manufacturers.
Nothing in the IAPSC Bylaws prohibits any member from complying with any law or regulation, by any governmental or regulatory body, which requires that security consultants be registered or licensed as a private investigator or any other related security registration or license, however the member shall not practice or advertise such services.

Although IAPSC has compiled the Directory based on information supplied by the members listed and has vetted each member for compliance with the IAPSC membership requirements, it has not reviewed, investigated, or evaluated the authenticity, accuracy or completeness of the information published on each profile.
